i would have answered your last ask privately, but the option to do that isn’t available with anonymous messages. i’ll just answer you here instead.
this blog will always be open to submissions, and i’ll go ahead and re-investigate why it isn’t accepting anonymous ones again as i distinctly recall enabling the option earlier. perhaps the tumblr update messed it up???
of course, i doubt this blog will ever truly be active considering the aforementioned threats made by the staff, which i think is a little bit sad. personally, i felt that that this blog should be a place for people to come and vent their frustrations where the staff on khims or on aluriya can’t turn around and incriminate you for some rule you apparently broke (which as much as i love khimeros, happens a lot in the rant forum, and especially to several specific targets that staff just don’t like personally and go out of their way to hate.)
i think it’s a very sad thing when the admin is such a control freak and so unable to handle the things that she does wrong that she instead threatens to ban the second you remind her this place exists. she and her staff could learn so much more if they took to heart that they have to be doing something wrong for a blog like this to exist in the first place and be /so full/ of rants
i may have gone off on a bit of a chinwag though so to sum it all up, if you wish to make that confessions blog still i would love to see it and would happily promote you to the, oh, five followers this little blog has (hee hee). perhaps you can make a success story where this one didn’t!

i still run it but as of late, nobody comes to the blog any more. i think it had a lot to do with the fact that it was misadvertised as a “hate blog” and then the mere mention of it anywhere was enough to get people banned from khimeros/aluriya, so it stopped seeing use
you can go right ahead and make the confessions blog if you like! this one isn’t really active, though i haven’t forgotten about it. i just don’t think it sees use because onyx effectively threatened permabans to any people mentioning the blog and probably if they were believed to be using it too.
I get that it has been stressful with the merge and that some people have maybe been a bit rude here and there
but that includes people from both sides of the argument. Yet I only ever see staff warning people who don’t agree with them, and everybody else is given a free pass because they agreed with the staff. In fact one of these people was even made into a mod!
I even hear that one of the disagreeing members was banned just because Onyx didn’t like her and because apparently she kept talking about things she was told not to, but she wasn’t??? In that last news post all she was doing was talking about, ya know, what was posted in the news.
Which other people did too and funnily enough, because they agreed, they were allowed to stay without warning!

Am I the only one that’s disgusted with the amount of money people spend on this site? One user started a couple months ago, and by the looks of the account, he/she has spent hundreds of dollars so far. I have no problem donating small amounts here and there, but I can not justify well over $300 in a couple months on images. Maybe breeding sites just aren’t for me.

i’m sorry to hear that people have been harassing you over this, that isn’t cool. i don’t really post consistently if i’m not given submissions though because i don’t really play either game any more (which i have to had said like three times now.)
and since drama tends to make people submit stuff… can’t really help that. but i really am sorry that people are harassing you about it, i’m just not sure what i can do to help??

I remember vaguely that there was some stuff go down on Alu at one point where somebody ranted about their customs not looking right and this caused some huge fuss because the staff took it as a personal attack.
so I can understand why this blog was made because people ranting in anger about things that bothered them basically got taken out of context which isn’t cool.
and then of course you have Khims and people making really personal attacks on other people and taking really nasty and snobby tones.
so I can understand why people rant on this blog because being attacked or having to deal with smarmy tones isn’t nice and nobody appreciates it.
what I don’t understand is why this blog becomes a hate blog because people decide to use it to rant on things here where nobody can turn around and attack them and where the staff can’t turn around and take things out of context and then talk about them behind their back in chat (which happened once on Alu after the customs rant because I watched it happen)
how is it a hate blog when it is people ranting about things that bother them, anonymously, in a place where they feel safe enough to rant? shouldn’t staff be more worried about the fact that this blog not only exists in the first place but sees the amount of use that it does? shouldn’t they be worried about the fact that people clearly don’t feel safe enough to use their own rant boards and so they come here to do it, instead of calling this blog a hate blog and then banning people from mentioning it?
a really good fan mail i got that i felt like i had to share (and i wish you could publish fan mail instead of copy/pasting)
submissions are still open and it seems like they actually get posted anonymously even if there is no “anon” option
so if people want to try and start submitting instead of sending in all of these asks that would be cool (and i think my inbox would appreciate it.)

this is a rant blog okay, not some kind of big old hate blog. i’m starting to see why people are ranting here the way they are based on some of the responses i’ve seen to this very blog itself.

i used to play on Khims for the briefest of times but it didn’t really hold my interest so i left. i haven’t actually played Alu because i don’t want to pay for an account.
Trying to prove that you are somehow mature or capable staff by banning people from talking about an anonymous rant blog and calling it a hate blog doesn’t actually do anything. Except show them that you are, in fact, immature.
Not talking about something doesn’t make it go away. Pretending it doesn’t exist doesn’t actually take it out of existence. It just shows that you are not capable of dealing with it and that you probably shouldn’t be staff if you are not capable of dealing with it.
Also you need to stop pretending that every time somebody uses the word “damn” they are attacking you. When people start calling you incompetent to your face, then you can start telling them to stop attacking you. Until then, members aren’t attacking you, they’re just disgruntled with the crap you keep pulling and they wish you would stop acting like you’re five years old and wrapped in cotton wool.

no, i am not that person. i will say that the person who posted up that first rant specifically asked for a link to this blog once i made it because they wanted somewhere to rant anonymously.
not that it seems to be doing them any good since apparently everybody and their mother knows who they are. but whatever, that isn’t my problem.
also that seems pretty immature of the staff, especially considering the few rants we have had so far telling people to lay off them. yes. very hateful.
